Santa always has the best gifts in his pack!

First and foremost, I apologize for abandoning all of you for forever.  It has been somewhat hectic over here in Cookieville, and as I slowly dig myself out of all the fun and games...lol I thought I would finally bring you all up to speed....hehe..
So, going backwards...lol.....today Desi came home with her new ballet recital costume. It is incredibly cute, but it doesn't fit properly. I am a bit disgruntled by that. Apparently I now need to become a seamstress in order to have my child outfitted properly for ballet.  She also complains that the inside of it is itchy, and she is not supposed to wear anything beneath it.   I am going to have to speak to her teacher about options in relation to that problem. Possibly a nude leotard, similar to what the skaters wear with their costumes.....Here she is not fully in costume, but it is an idea of what it looks like....





This past weekend we attended delencrie's daughter's 2nd birthday party! She was super cute!



Sephie was thrilled to be there also.  She was so distracted by all the fun that she drank from her cup upside down...lol



Also in new Sephie news.... she is sitting up, crawling, and attempting to pull herself up to stand...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Her tub broke recently, and in order to give her a bath, aric wouldnt just hold her while leaning over the side, so he would put on his swim trunks and sit in the bath with her...It was very cute...but he wouldnt let me near him with the camera while doing it!  I personally couldnt lean over the tub at all. It killed my back and so, I have been attempting to find a new tub.  Apparently, however, they do not carry TODDLER tubs in the local stores anymore, just baby ones.  Sephie prefers to sit up and splash and kick, which she cant do while reclining.....obviously.  So I purchased her a bumbo.   It is a seat for babies who are not sitting up fully on their own, but it has an optional play/feeding tray that can be added onto it.
 She has finally mastered sitting up by herself, but I am still worried about her in the tub. Plus she and Desi like to take baths together and splash each other.  I am not comfortable letting her sit without any support or any protection in the tub with Desi.  So I put the bumbo in the tub and plop her into it. It has worked rather well so far.
