Pride and Prejudice 2005
Hmmmm....
I have been rewatching the Pride and Prejudice 2005 Movie. Now, I don't know if any of you have seen it. Or own it...
BUT....
There is a scene towards the end of the movie just after Mr. Bingley proposes to Jane Bennet and before Lady Catherine comes to Longbourn to demand that Lizzy not enter into an engagement with Mr. Darcy. In this scene, they are panning across the front windows of Longbourn. You can hear the conversations within each room. Mr. and Mrs. Bennet are talking about Jane's engagement, then pull back and pan to the next room with Mary Bennet and Kitty Bennet, with Mary reading out loud to Kitty from a book, then move to Jane and Lizzy talking about Mr. Bingley.......
In the pan to the room with Mary and Kitty.....does anyone know.....if Mary is reading from "Sense and Sensibility"? I haven't read it in a while, and short of going through the whole book chapter by chapter with the scripting written down....lol...
I am in the immediate process of rewinding the movie to that scene so that I can type for you the words from that scene.........It woudl be like the Director to slip something of that nature into the film, I think....
".....Was to be from all insincerety. She only can address herself effectually to the heart and feelings of others, whose mind glows with the warmth and sensibility and whose arguments result from conviction. She must feel the influence of those passions and emotions which she wishes to inspire. An assumed character......."
This is all we can understand from that scene..... anyone know?
